Hate, 

an empty cross to bear,

when in my hours of despair,

all you can do is whish I'd care,

about the words you screamed!

The love we shared.

Should I have begged for you to stay

and wipe away my tears

or losing you is the way

to smash away my fears?

Why did you only care

about the empty shell I bear,

and did you even stop to hear

the million empty words I've blared

of neverland and nowhere?

And I would beg for one more stare,

one chance for you to truly care

about my soul, the heaviness it bares

on empty roads of dust and

do I dare?

to look at you and see how rare 

your beauty blocks away the glare

and burns my fears of despair?

And I will beg for you to stay

and chase away my tears,

cuz' keeping you is the only way

to drive away my fears.
